    1. I have already. Pret fired me while my dad was in intensive care, just out of a coma. They tricked and trapped me after discriminating and bullying me during bereavement, enabled by their corrupt HR department. I tried during the most darkest times for three years to help improve work conditions, but was continuously put under suppressing and discriminating management that I turned ill and in my ill behaviour wrote countless emails.

      I am raising awareness because Pret has a shiny facade, many customers don’t see behind what’s going on in staff treatment. If you ever visit London, you will see Pret in every corner as they are taking over the fast food industry and expand internationally as well. They have become what I call the modern-day McDonald’s. Pret is more clever and slick, though, they have brilliant PR fooling the public and staff.

      I almost lost my life and am still suffering daily from anxiety, depression, not to mention that my bereavment has become complicated. But I am taking my life back with much more powerful support now. Pret has not responded yet publicly as they run crazy in the background on what to do with me, as they read my blog as well. I am still working on going to court.

      Pret chose to pick on the wrong person! I gave them 10 years of service with the last 3 years in traumatic grief being bullied on top of it! Pret, you picked the wrong person this time!

      1. wow that is truly shocking so now I can see you are on a mission to whistle blow on them and good that you do!
        Here in Australia they have just taken a few classy restaurants and celebrity owners thru the courts for underpaying staff. In times of high unemployment bosses abuse and harass. We need strong people like yourself to call them out but pray that you are getting professional support to survive this minefield …

      2. Calmkate, thank you for finally getting me. The best help you can give me is to pass on what I write. I have some help now, but it’s not enough. It’s a struggle Pret A Manger will try to shut me down in their subtle way. I have given 3 friends all the paperwork. They will pass on in case I won’t be able to.
