I worked at Pret A Manger and survived systemic workplace bullying during bereavement that involved HR, the top leadership, HQ and even the now “retired” former CEO Clive Schlee. I declined 4 settlement offers if I am silent about my ordeal. But I rather speak out to help others. Thank you, Deep. It’s just my and many other people’s experience working with this company unfortunately. I almost lost my life after being bullied during grief, that is why I publish openly because people suffer there.
But I am concentrating a lot more on positive things like the wonderful 99 Word challenges.

P.S. My “Quotes of the Day” are my way to tell a different story to the work conditions in Pret, that I survived. It is of course a sarcastic way of !Quotes of the Day”, but a much needed one.
