This year I thought I’d challenge myself and for the next 24 days will go through the alphabet in relation to anything regarding Pret. Yes, the alphabet has 26 letters, but some letters prove challenging, so I give myself 2 jokers here 😉

The jokers may be a repeated letter or even a number.

For those who follow my blog, some of the issues behind the “doors” will not be new to you. Please bear with it as there are daily new readers, who don’t know the issues related to Pret and my traumatic experience with that company.

The above Santa Clown is current CEO Pano Christou who deleted his Twitter account in July 2019 after I kept tweeting to the press, also pointing out his Twitter account. Mr. Christou “hides” on Linkedin where toxic positivity rules, and business people tell Pret sweet little nothings, “sliming” Pret (licking boots). Under Christou’s leadership UK shops collapse, while expanding in other countries where Pret’s reputation isn’t as tarnished as in the UK and while people on Linkedin tell Pano how awesome he is while his shops are in shambles. More on this a few doors down the line in the coming days.

So, what to do when running the ship into an iceberg and not taking responsibility to fix the mess first? The Captain jumps ship and opens a new fleet elsewhere to keep catering to tax-haven Luxembourg based owners JAB Holdings via the second riches family of Germany the Reimanns.

I use parody style of “activism” to point out issues in Pret from a behind the scenes look. I guarantee it’s free of anything that may harm your eyes, but it may crush your heart if you care. It’s packed full with ingredients of experience, observation, tons of my own research that journalists and Wikipedia like to nick from, reviews from Pret’s little helpers and other staff members’ accounts. Plus lots and lots of customer complaints.

It’s going to be heart-wrenching with some eye-openers for new readers. Plenty of bags stuffed with a good peek behind the doors of the well polished, glittering PR[et] facade.

Each door will open automatically on social media, as the posts are scheduled to open each day at a certain time.

BUT, don’t you cheat! Don’t prematurely open a door of a later day here, like you used to do as a kid with the chocolate calendar! If you do, Santa Clown will punish you with a wrongly labelled product! 😉
