If I was in Prison, I’d have more visitors

… than a bereaved person. But I’d rather live and die alone than have fake friends.

This post is short and sweet and is addressed to my former friends who can burn in hell for all I know.

This is to all my former friends whom I knew since 15, 20 and more years who lived close to me (minutes away) but turned their backs on me once my brother died, like they did with “Job” in the Bible. I am no comparison to Job in the Bible and this is not about the quantity of loss, but the “quality” of it. My former “friends” have been toxic, double-faced, jealous of my talents and never were worthy of the term “friend”.

And THANK GOD this “experience” has freed me from a belief in a god. And this releases me from the gaslighting bullsh!t of “praying” for those who accused me while I was in the gutter.

Job 42:10 “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.”

Sounds like the ongoing disrespect for yourself. If you disregard yourself, even kill yourself for “the lord” you will go to heaven and meet 50 million virgins or whatever floats your boat!

It’s clear that the Bible was written by men who focussed on riches, double the amount etc. If you let us treat you like sh!t and then even pray for us (forgive us), then the “lord” will give you doouble the stuff you lost.

Nah, thanks. Done with that bullsh!t.

I’m beyond thankful that those super Christian “friends” are not in my life anymore.

If any of my former “friends” read this one day (or while they/you keep spying on my socials 😉 ) I regret ever having seen you as “friends”. But that’s MY fault not yours, because you’re too toxic to even understand. But you also never know how relieved I am that your toxic ass is not in my life anymore. You always stank of pretentiousness. It just took the death of my brother, the hellish grief and what Pret did to me to see that unfortunately.

I worked at Pret A Manger and survived systemic workplace bullying during bereavement that involved HR, the top leadership, HQ and even the now “retired” former CEO Clive Schlee. I declined 4 settlement offers if I am silent about my ordeal. But I rather speak out to help others. For an overview of important blog entries of my experience with Pret, please visit “My Ordeal with Pret A Manger”. The little arrow to the right next to each heading will lead directly to the post.

I tell my story for the first time verbally in below audio player interview on a podcast by The Adam Paradox, and wrote two articles in the Scottish Left Review and was mentioned by the BBC.
