To any bot or hacker,
who is “visiting” from a specific country in the Northern and Eastern Hemisphere, every time this country is represented on my stats, some pictures on my blog get messed up, meaning they disappear and I have to re-upload again. It happens mainly with the same pictures and this just happened again with this royalty free picture suddenly having its own URL:

This happened many times when they click on a picture, isolating it, and soon thereafter I had to re-upload. This happens especially with Tweet pictures I publish that give nitty-gritty details on Pret, Lawsuits against Pret, anything to do with Clive Schlee etc. As these are very visual they sometimes disappear and I have to re-upload. It also seems like the person who make the pictures disappear is looking for copyrighted pictures as Pret may be looking for ways to get to me. I use only royalty free pictures that don’t need to be credited as it says on the sites and have them all catalogued and logged for easy find. Other pictures I use are my own.
Also, my stats suddenly skyrocket within minutes by this ONE country, but no-one can read that fast where I make very long blog entries. One night this happened while I was watching the stats change AND was in live chat with a WordPress staff who looked into it during the same time.
This is how it looks like when an uploaded picture disappears. Only the file name, in this case > 2018-10-12-wrong-label.jpg is there.
And this is how it looks like when the picture is uploaded again like it was before:
I observed this many times now since months, especially late at night and past midnight, when this particular country was the only country visiting my site in the early hours of a new day in my Hemisphere!
The only hint I give away about this country apart from the hemisphere is that people in this country are very technologically savvy and many international companies have call centers in that country.
If you have been employed by “someone” or a specific “organization” that is looking for something to get at me, and for you to hack into WordPress (and WordPress has confirmed after my inquiry into this, that they have a huge problem with bots etc.) to mess with certain pictures and stats, you may get paid to do a sorry job, but let your “employer” know that this is futile and be sure that WordPress is aware and keeps looking into this.

This picture in the screenshot I’ve just made today keeps disappearing and I had to upload about 3 -4 times already. It’s a Tweet screenshot about Pret CEO Clive Schlee who responded to an open letter regarding labelling products for people with allergies and him admitting that he didn’t know how to respond:

I worked at Pret A Manger and survived systemic workplace bullying during bereavement that involved HR, the top leadership, HQ and even the now “retired” former CEO Clive Schlee.
