The children’s children (today’s Ukraine) are now paying the price for the old men who bowed to entitled rich men (1990s “leaders”).
The Mafia promises to “protect” you in return for pay (like Trump does … minerals … this MF is out the door soon).
Give up your nukes and we will protect you (not!).
Never give up your defences, your OWN protection, your superpower. Never.

I think Ukraine giving up their Nukes after the Soviet Union collapsed was not so much a mistake, they were a “new” Nation and over their head with being the 3rd largest Nuke nation.
It was the big guns (UK, USA, Russia) with the help of some small neighbours, who didn’t want a new nation to have such power.
It’s complicated enough to figure out and finance all this arsenal at your young door mat. And Putin putting his feet into the water in 2014 and then full-on playing empire in 2022 will come to an end soon, because we have a lunatic in the White House. And Starmer, Macron, now Merz & Co. are playing a smart card.
History will tell.
But lesson learnt. NEVER give up your superpower, whatever that may be! It could be your talent, your money, your love, your position, your …. fill in the blanks.
Never give up your superpower.
