I always listen to my favourite series Desert Island Discs. I listen to them all, even if I don’t know the person interviewed and even if I don’t like some of them. But you always learn something. And I love to learn what makes people tick.
A recent episode in February 2026 was with Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch. And as usual, I was NOT disappointed at WHY I don’t like certain people in politics or whatever field they work in. Apart from her “arguments” at PMQs often being weak and distractions, I don’t believe in a political party being led by and/or occupied with mainly rich people. I think it’s obvious in our current global climate why this isn’t a good idea.
Before Badenoch says the following, she shares how she went into politics and the Tory Party for “fun”.
At around 29:10 into her Desert Island interview, quote:
.
“I joined the Conservative Party for the ‘party’ aspect of it, socialising, drinks, hanging out with other young people…”
– Kemi Badenoch

Yeah, that’s what rich, entitled kids do. They are bored, they have everything. They don’t need to fight for anything except to conquer boredom and make more money. Let them join political parties for fun. THAT will be their legacy.
I sent this Badenoch quote to my local MP who happens to be Labour, to hopefully pass this Desert Island Discs episode on to Sir Keir Starmer for PMQs.
Dear fun loving, arrogant, rich kid Kemi Badenoch, I couldn’t bury my mum during 2. lockdown while the Conservative Party full of rich and entitled people partied. You found your niche! Have fun while it lasts!
Kemi Badenoch also comes from a rich family, and her joining the Tories for “fun”, for socialising and drinks is all I need to hear from a party “leader” to know another reason this party should never be in power again.
Also little reminder on what Rich, sorry Rishi Sunak said in the open: Taking funding from deprived areas and pouring it into wealthy areas. Rich politicians by the book.
Here’s the REVERSE Robin Hood speaking: Take from the poor, give to the rich.
“… We inherited a bunch of formulas from the Labour Party that shoved all the funding into deprived urban areas, … that needed to be undone. I started the work of undoing that.” – Rishi Sunak

And I won’t give this fathermucker Boris Clownson any room here. This guy has blood on his hands. Never forget what he said and did! “Let the bodies pile high“. I couldn’t bury my mum you piece of sh!t.
Labour isn’t perfect, no political party is. But I see laws changing again for the good of working people, which in turn also will bring stability to the economy. If working people are mistreated, the greater good of all people suffers too. Get this into your entitled heads!
This has nothing to do with “communism”. Communism is evil, and to label anyone who has the good of the bottom line in mind being a “communist”, this is just the same old, same old bulls!t talk and fear mongering.
Anyone who is for the oppression of working people deserves their food to be spat into by these people who TOUCH YOUR FOOD!
No, I do NOT advocate for workers to spit into people’s food, I say this to SHAKE entitled people’s head! When corporations, enabled by politics and lobbyists are pushing for fast money, partly also via oppressing workers, you WILL get issues that will hurt people, no matter if you’re rich or poor.
I survived the horrible laws the Tories implemented for the benefit of corporations. Working in Pret almost killed me. And anyone who blames immigrants and low-wage workers and people on benefits who were broken by this system, DESERVES what they get from these politicians and companies. You vote for this.

I worked at Pret A Manger and survived systemic workplace bullying during bereavement that involved HR, the top leadership, HQ and even the now “retired” former CEO Clive Schlee. Schlee has been appointed CEO of itsu in 2024 by Julian Metcalfe who gave him the CEO spot at Pret many years ago.
I declined 4 settlement offers if I am silent about my ordeal. But I rather speak out to help others. For an overview of important blog entries of my experience with Pret, please visit “My Ordeal with Pret A Manger”. The little arrow to the right next to each heading will lead directly to the post.
An incomplete list on what other Pret staff say about Pret’s bullying environment: Caught in the Act Bullying at Pret and What shop MANAGERS & HQ staff say about Pret incl. CEO Pano Christou.
I tell my story for the first time verbally in below audio player interview on a podcast by The Adam Paradox, and wrote two articles in the Scottish Left Review as well as mentioned by the BBC.
